Cool Wave is the original spreading pansy. One plant can spill over a basket or spread 24 to 30 inches across a flower bed.
Cool Wave provides color through fall, overwinters well, and returns early in spring. It works in baskets, pots, beds, and borders, and the solids and swirled bicolors all share the same spreading habit, so they can be planted side by side. Top Wave forms a fuller mound in the pot before trailing and has flowers about 25 percent larger than Cool Wave.
