Cool Wave is the original spreading pansy. One plant can spill over a basket or spread 24 to 30 inches across a flower bed.
Cool Wave provides color through fall, overwinters well, and returns early in spring. It works in baskets, pots, beds, and borders, and the solids and swirled bicolors all share the same spreading habit, so they can be planted side by side. Top Wave forms a fuller mound in the pot before trailing and has flowers about 25 percent larger than Cool Wave.

The spreading pansy that built the category. One plant carries a basket rim or covers two feet of bed, blooms through fall, overwinters, and comes back strong in spring. Sold in 4-inch deep pots, 10 per flat.

The big sister to Cool Wave, bred up in flower size. Flowers 25 percent larger, mounds full in the pot, then trails hard once planted. Winter hardy to Zone 5 and finishes ahead of standard pansies.
